Experimental Animal Pathology Laboratory

Overview of Services

The mission of the Experimental Animal Pathology Laboratory (EAPL) is to provide a comprehensive array of high quality, cost-effective histology and histology-related services to UWCCC members. In addition, the EAPL provides technical support, expert pathology consultation, and educational programs to UWCCC members and their students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, scientists, and specialists. Services are also available for the UW community and  Non-UW clients.

COVID Phase 1 reopening information:

Specimen pick up and drop off will remain the same as before, in the corridor outside the lab. If you don’t have access to the 4th floor of WIMR you may call the lab and we will meet you. The refrigerator and freezer door handles will be disinfected by staff twice daily. There are Lysol wipes on the table outside of the lab for clients to wipe handles.

Special accommodations can be made for those of you that need to use the cytospin machine for critical research.
